WIP: Takom M9 ACE

I am currently working on the 1:35 Takom M9 ACE, armored combat earthmover.

Here are a few pics:

So far it's been a pretty easy build except for a couple times that I've dropped little, fiddly bits as a sacrifice to the carpet monster.

More pics and info to follow...

Hello!

It's a very interesting machine! One of those that make me want to stap outside of my Vietnam collection for a while... Looks like you're off to a good start - good luck with your build and have a nice day

Thanks Pawel!  Welcome Sign

I like building stuff that's a little bit unique.  No offense to those who build them, but there are a crap-ton of panzers and even Abrams out there.  I want to build stuff that people will look at and say, "Wow!  That's neat!  What's that?"

Very cool! And I love seeing off-the-wall stuff! I've seen several people buy the military dozers but haven't seen anyone build one till now.

I'll post more pics as I go along.

This is my first Takom kit.  Generally the quality is really good though I do wish some of the parts placement in the instructions were a little better.
