I went by my local HL last week, looking to grab one or both (at best one for me, and one to hold for our AMPS meeting gift exchange in December)... no such luck... all gone.

This thread is about correcting the hull errors. If the dimensions bother the modeler, it really doesn't look like a whole lot of work to correct.

I built an earlier version when they first came out; it was a decent kit and I didn't fix anything on the tank.

Hello!

It's worth noting that the early Shermans from Hobby Boss feature from some serious dimensional problems:

But at less than the price of a McDonald's meal, they are a steal.

Worst case, they are great mules for testing techniques upon. Especially at those prices!

Hello!

It's worth noting that the early Shermans from Hobby Boss feature from some serious dimensional problems:

Fortunately, the later ones are a lot better, according to the same reviewer:

Good luck with your modelling projects and have a nice day

Just a heads up, but I was at my local Hobby Lobby and they had the 1/48th scale Hobby Boss M4A3 (76) and Korean War M4A3E8 on clearance for $6.74 and $6.99 respectively.

They had other plane, ship and sci-fi kits on clearance around the same price.
