This thread is about correcting the hull errors. If the dimensions bother the modeler, it really doesn't look like a whole lot of work to correct.
I built an earlier version when they first came out; it was a decent kit and I didn't fix anything on the tank.

Just a heads up, but I was at my local Hobby Lobby and they had the 1/48th scale Hobby Boss M4A3 (76) and Korean War M4A3E8 on clearance for $6.74 and $6.99 respectively.
They had other plane, ship and sci-fi kits on clearance around the same price.
