German hinterhalt (ambush) dots how to?

You have to "host" them on one of the online photo sites, like Flickr or the like.

You then need to capture the "Save Image Location" info (often my right-clicking the image at it's online location).  That url is then pasted into the Source box of the Image icon (5th from left, bottom row of the responce dialog, liiks like a moiuntain),

Oh, and you pretty much have to not try that on a phone or tablet, but from an actual computer (the single-window limitations of phones and tablets apper to get i nthe way of th process).

 

Phone and tablet work good for me,all you need is one window at a time.1st your photo site,copy the link,next FSM and add the link.The 1st window can be closed once you copy the img link

I ended up painting them by hand.  Not a fun project.

Went ahead and applied the ambush dots with 10/0 spotter brush (1/48 scale King Tiger). Read that on hard edge King Tigers their dots were hand painted. I like the results. I took pics but don’t know how to send them under a post?

My favorite way? Good ol hairy stick for me. I've not mastered my paint consistencies enough to make such tiny dots with my AB lol. 

However I can make those dots easily with a brush. Spacing is the tricky part. ;)
