Maybe on a ROM site, that's a refuel and rearm type thing that a convoy will do in the middle from point A to point B.
so it would be possible.

Actually we have all of those tracks around here, don't worry about film, I've got a digital camera.
I've also already downloaded some gun and faasv pics on ronUSMC's webpage if you want to check them out?
but I'll also snap off some pics around the good ol' motorpool and track park for you all.
it might take a few days for the mech inf tracks, as I'm in an artillery battery and the inf companies don't share
the same track parks.
I'll definately have them by Friday at the latest!
Also, I'll take a measuring tape and put it in the pictures for the scale down , that should be a massive help!

hey Red

do you have any of the fssv992s in your unit?
i'd like to convert an m-109 into one..but cant find any measurements of the rear portion of the hullyou know the back section where its angled inward..and measurements of the hatches and doors..and a really good walk around set of photos..

if ya need film..let me know..i'll send to help out in this endeavor..as i know theres a big interest in this vechical also...another vechical..if you happen to see is one of those bradely..fsv command tracks...and one of those phased array radar track units..on same chassis...

sorry getting out of hand now
stay safe out there...and CYA...lol

I believe Hobby Fan makes a conversion for the PLS, but I'm not sure. They are the ones who make the M984E1 conversion for the Italeri M978/977 and the M936A2 conversion for the Italeri M923A1. They would be your best bet to check their stuff.

yep, I'm a 13-bravo ( artilleryman ) but in an artillery btn. you can go to the gunline or into a service battery. I'm in
a service battery right now. We use PLS's to transport our ammo and whatever other little goodies they throw our
way. but as for scratch building, so far on a sci-fi ship I'm working on and maybe pretty soon I think I'll try to
tackle the scratch or a kit bash combo to make a PLS? I'll take tons of pics as I go, that is if I can find some
necesary parts to make this thing?

Redleg,

I did a search on google and found 5-6 sites which either
deal with or mention the M-1074/1075 PLS. But no models
whatsoever.

There may be something out there, but given the subject
matter I don't think that most model manufacturers would
produce a kit of this vehicle. That's just my take on it, sorry!

You by any chance a scratchbuilder? Wink [;)]

Anyhoo, I take it that you, as part of your duties, are
associated with this massive beast?

Has anyone ever seen or heard of any manufacture producing an M-1074/1075 palatized load system ( PLS )?
After Tuesday, I'll post some pics of one, due to the fact I hate the hey you details the army has and I really like my free time.Approve [^]
