Armored Vehicle Interiors

With the interiors hidden inside. I wish to see somewhat half-size clear plastic body? Like the Revell 'Ghost Mustang'.

This is just a personal point of view.

It seems the Academy Tiger kit is really starting to get popular. Can't complain, as I have one, too. Unfortunately, I had to pay for it...

I would like to see more kits with interiors, as well. Problem is, getting the time to spend on doing one properly is a chore in itself, plus the costs of the kits. In the time it has taken me to work on the Tiger, I could have finished 3 other kits. For dioramas, exterior is good enough for most applications.

Speaking of interior kits, have you checked out the Tamiya M2 Bradley? Very nice. It's definately going into a diorama with my Abrams and a few troops.

Stranger things have happened. I once made the mistake of recommending the old Tamiy M113A1 kit to a newbie who wanted some practice on a kit with interior. I was promptly scolded for not recommending the Academy M113A2 kit instead.

I love that kit. I still have my old original one I built way back when and recently bought another real cheap to replace missing parts on my old one.

Actually, the Tiger interior is pretty good. I've seen a lot of photos of a Tiger I's interior, but have only been in the King Tiger. Why would anybody attack you for recommending a kit? I like some pretty inaccurate kits (the early Revell Sherman in 1/40 scale for example) and don't really care what others think of them. Any kit (almost) can be made into a jewel and Academy's Tiger I is a great place to get a head start!
Say.... if you don't want that kit 'laying around'...... just give me a yell!!

Let me clarify in case someone attacks me for recommending the Tiger with interior. I do not know if the Academy Tiger I with interior is an accurate kit. I have no idea if it is complete, rudimentary or highly detailed. I don't normally do German armor and I just received the kit from someone who wanted another kit from me. Looks very cool and if I ever build it (doubtful) i most likely won't care if the interior is accurate or not.

Agreed and Rob your right, Academy's Tiger I with interior is a good kit. It would be great if more companies, especially Tamiya incorporated it into some kits. Especially if they will pawn off a Panzer IV J or Panther G with Eduard Zimmerit for $65 Bucks.

I like interiors as well. For some kits, it would be a waste since a lot of detail will be hidden. I enjoy doing the M113 series with their basic interiors. Someone gave me an Academy Tiger I with complete interior. Nice kit.
