Newer Bradleys like the M2A2ODS (Operation Desert Storm modified) and the M2A3 are now being delivered in desert sand (yellowish), but prior to Desert Storm, the M2A2s were mainly stationed in Germany and painted in the standard NATO 3-color. The ones that deployed to the Gulf were hastily repainted sand.
Many of the US based Bradleys were the older M2 and M2A1 variety. These were in a variety of paint schemes, but mainly brown and black over forest green. These too were repainted in desert sand. The sand color varied from the yellow sand to a grey sand to even a pinkish sand (some Fort Hood vehicles).
