I've seen several DML Hetzers at my local store. They look much better than the older Italeri one, but it was a decent kit for its day. I never knew there were so many variants of the Hetzer until I joined a club and have a member who does many scratchbuilt and conversion Hetzers. He does nice work.

Miller41, why don't you try smaller scales..??? There are a number of manufacturers out there with 1/72, 1/76 and 1/87 Hetzers.

DML kit #6037 is the Hetzer flammenpanzer which can be made either as the flammenpanzer or the hetzer..
The kit is OOP but I have seen it in a few hobby shops around town and I even bought one for a modeling campaign.

BTW, Sheman, If you are gonna post the "hunter/ hunted"..
You need to post about 5 more pics of the Sherman to that one Tiger..lolClown [:o)]

Miller,
Give these a try. If you don't read this soon they will expire.

That Tamiya kit is rare - it even has the Italeri name on it
The revell kit is the same thing - made by Italeri

Hey Miller, I built the DML Hetler Mid production about a year ago, and I got really lucky when I bought that kit. The store that I purchase my stuff at is called Baseline Models in Mineola, New York and it is listed in the Vender Section of Fine Scale. I know for a fact that he has a few DML Hetzers as well as Italeri's Hetzer. DML's Hetzers as well as Italeri's are both out of production.

All Hetzer kits by these 2 manufacturers are OOP. Your best bet is to try on-line shops or brick and mortar stores that may still have it on the shelf. Other than that you can try E-Bay.
Happy Modelling and God Bless Robert

Hetzer Kits?
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, June 29, 2003 7:21 PM
I have tried searching the web but have been unable to find any kits for the German Hetzer. I know DML and Italeri made some but they dont seem to be available, does anyone know where I might get one?
