AMT's OLD 67 Camaro. W.I.P.

Well as it says.  This is AMT's older 67 Camaro kit.  The ride height shown in the pics is about what it is going to be.

The wheels are modified Pegasus(cut the backs off, and then painted the mains, and slid the backs in chrome side out on the front) I did different offsets front and rear, laid the razor saw on a spacer on the desk, and then ran the wheel along the saw.  Worked GREAT.

Paint is MM Customer Lacquer System, GTS Blue with Black on top.  BMF.  The pics don't show the clear coat but I'm using the one coat lacquer wet look clear on it.

Stripes are from the kit, I only used the rear stripes, didn't want to go overboard.  Of course the only reason to use the stripes was I knicked the paint in just the right spot and did NOT want to strip it a second time(Yes I did this paintjob once before and the body seperation lines did not match AT ALL).

Very nice! I like how the paint separation exaggerates the body lines!

Thank you. That was the exact intention with the paint. The masking was not easy.

Are the vent windows separate parts of the kit? The 67 had vent windows, the 68 did not.

The vent windows are part of the unified "glass" for this kit.  This is an older kit.
