Hmmm;

   Although you are doing a kick Butt job , gotta ask . Isn't the seat of the interior supposed to be the same as the seat-backs . I don't believe they did that pattern till the late nineties . I could be wrong though .  T.B.

Very nice job. I must get this kit. The only cars I build anymore are those from the early 50's to mid 60's. I always build stock rather than custom. Cars from this period are very unique. Pretty easy to identify them with a quick look. Most modern cars look so similar. For those that build cars of this era there are great online sources where you can see old sales brochures and magazine ads. I believe many of these are directed at people that restore the real thing. Must be nice!!! I'm amazed at the variety of body and interior colors.. There are even places that sell perfectly matched paint from that era. I just go to auto supply stores and get something close.

What kind of wash did you use on that motor.  That's sweet.  Nice build.  Love that paint color.

Oh My ;

 That looks Beautimus ! Very nice work there . Question ? Did you know that the top line of this car model had chrome trim next to the window glass ? It was a very thin channel that covered the weather stripping .

    Now , not raining on your parade , This was a dealer installed option .So you could have the " Bel - Aire " look without the cost .  T.B.

It sure is. 6 yrs old when these came out and even though they were on the street for many years I sure can't recall that beautiful color.
