I received this metal kit in trade and decided to give it a try.The kit was missing the trunk lid so I used the thermoform technique described in my thread on the General Modeling forum section.I did not like the spare tire carriers molded into the front fenders,so I cut them out and filled them with sheet plastic and putty.Came out well! I tell you that as Zamac must be brutal on the molds because the front suspension parts had thick pore stubs and lots of flash!Lots of filing required!
Full metal chassis is very sturdy but the screws are oversize.
Subscribed - always wanted a metal kit. A friend of mine had a Pocher kit way back and I was jealous.

Mocked it up with smaller wheels than what came in the kit.
The kit was missing the dash board and steering column,so I made a new dash out of .80 styrene and the column out if brass tube.The wheel is connected to the Tie rod,so it turns with the front wheels.
I always liked the crank out windshield that was a feature of many classic cars so I replicated it along with a sun visor.

Just about done,put on the horns,cowl lights,door and trunk handles,taillights and rumble seat step.Came out nicely!

I love those old Hubley kits. Whenever I see one at a good price at a meet or flea market I pick on up. Haven't seen one available for a number of years, now.
