If you could post some photos that would be cool. Does the kit have interior engine detail? Ignition wiring?

Gee ... over 10 days have come and gone and no one has any info on this kit ... good or bad! [:0]

I have finished my building of this kit ... Smile [:)]

So ... I will post a short review for anyone who might be interested.

Great kit ... enjoyed building it ... looks really nice in my display case, well worth the $28.00 US I paid for the kit. This little jewel is marketed by Testors Corporation of Rockford, IL, USA ... the kit has a copyright date of 2002. It is made in China for Liberty Classics, Libertyville, IL, USA. In fact, at a local hobby show last weekend I saw offered for sale by one of the vendors at the show a built-up engine marketed by said Liberty Classics, it wasn't a kit. So, I guess Liberty Classics markets a built up engine and Testors markets the kit.

This is a mixed media 1/6th scale model kit of the 375 hp L-84 Chevy Corvette 327 cu. in. fuel injected engine available as an extra $$ option on the 1963 - 1965 Chevy Corvettes. The kit builds rather easy ... no painting required ... unless you wish to add extra detail ... but, right from the box it builds a really good scale replica of this engine. I added detail painting and repainted the exhaust headers to match more closely the pictures I had of this engine in 1/1 scale.

All in all this is a very good kit, a fun build with good value and ends with a very impressive display item. Cool [8D]

If you are interested in this type of kit ... pick it up and give it a try.

Thanks for your time ... Approve [^]

Hi ...

Just came home from the hobby shop with a new kit ... the recent release of the Testors Lincoln Mint Ultra Metal Series Chevrolet Corvette 327 Engine in 1/6th scale.

Has anyone built this kit, if so, what can you tell me about it?
It looks like a really interesting kit. I am looking forward to building it. I have always been a huge Corvette fan, scale cars as well as the 1/1's.

I saw a build up of this kit at the Chicago Hobby Show last fall, but this is the first time I have seen one of the kits on the shelf.

Hope someone has built this and has some feedback on it.

Thanks ...
