Hi Ya'll :
I broke down and bought this . Airfix's representation of the " Bug " Volkswagen QuickBuild kit ! It looks a little large for 1/24 or 1/25 but not by much . Was it fun to build , Sho Nuff ! It's a decent little kit .The parts fit well even though you work with some LEGO type pieces .
Now that said .I immediatly saw places where you can improve on what's there . The vent window frame is raised slightly on the clear part . All the little details are almost there . A little tweaking and you got a great little car .Be ready to make plastic or P.E. Wipers and Badges .
The dash leaves a lot to be desired and it's right hand drive . The seats have the brick stubs on them But my LEGO figures look a little small in there . It has a full back seat and package shelf as well . All in all a neat break from glue together stuff ! Plus the bright yellow plastic it's molded in polishes up nice !
Oh , by the way , the window unit fits really great too !
