I was trying to replicate the factory color and this one was close.  Colin Chapman always said that lightness is speed!

Oh My Gosh;

 That is exactly the color of the one the owner didn't want back after a collision. So we sold it at Auction! I drove it for almost a year though. Decent Automobile!

I happen to come across the Fast Track video of the reissued Tamiya Lotus Europa and I knew about the reissue earlier this month.  If you never saw the video, have a look at it here...

Mine was the original issue of the Lotus Europa Twin Cam Special.

If that Matchbox Lotus was like any of my Matchbox cars, then the paint was chipped and at least one wheel was bent!

To this day I still remember having a Matchbox of that very car in that very color - and that was close to 50 years ago.

I guess a lot of tall people liked the little Europa...

GMorrison

Never seen that kit before. I like it!

Guy I worked with had a black one with the Cosworth DOHC four. Funny thing, he was about 6'-5".

Must be a Lotus thing! I. too, worked with a guy in 1973 who had one. He was ell over 6 feet ass well!

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

Btw you put the steering wheel on the wrong side ;)

I really doesn't matter which side the steering wheel is on, just as long as you have fun with it!  WinkBig Smile

Excellent build.  The colors really pop.  Who's kit is this?

I'd forgotten about that model Lotus. As always, you have done a stellar job and I also like the lime green. YesYes
