Lee. very nice million dollar cobra!
Mr Mike. beautiful car. I had several amt rivi kits just for those wire wheels lol.
Nick.
Looks good, Lee! This car has been a pain for many of us modelers with poor mounting points. I used this kit as the basis for the 289 Cobra from the Honey West TV series starring the late Anne Francis. I used the wire wheels from the AMT '65 Buick Riviera and modified them to fit under the fenders better.
Thanks. If I had been aware before I glued the wheels on, it would have probably been a easy fix, but the suspension is quite fragile, and I didn't want to break anything.
Looks good. I have a couple in the stash
Thanks,
John
Very nice!!

I love Cobras. Well done all around, it looks the part. I agree, the wheel do stick out too far. This is common on car kits and takes some doing sometimes to correct.

Another kit I started 10-15 years ago. Wheels stick out too far but I didn't want to wreck it fixing it.
