Yeah! Very nice. From the faded paint to the rust. Nice work.
wpwar11 How did you create the chips/rust effect?
How did you create the chips/rust effect?
Hand brushed using AK Interactive rust effects set (acrylic) and built up successively darker shades till it was where I wanted it, then dullcoat. The key to it is making it look random. This is actually my second try. I did the Revell 65 Chevy step side a few months back, good effect but got a little carried away. I might post it anyway if anyone is interested in seeing it.
Thanks for looking and replying, everybody. Glad you like it.
Back in the day, the guy down the street from me had one that looked nearly identical to this -- including the rust spots -- except his had home-made (and badly sprayed, probably with Rustoleum cans) two-tone white trim.
Excellent work!

That is some great work.
Rust is awesome. I so admire those of you who can paint/weather so well.....especially the rust bombs.
Resembles UncleJesse's truck from The Dukes of Hazzard!
Geez!
That looks like a Yankee Ford ta me! Nice Work!!!
That looks fantastic. I really like the rust work - looks like a well used work truck
Thanks,
John
My latest. The Moebius kit, tried to replicate factory colors. Used MM Flanker Pale Blue; it's a great stand-in for the original Diamond Blue. MRP Insignia White for the rest, along with a prewired distributor and some bumper stickers from Gofer. Sorry for the lousy pics.
