    OLEZIPPI! You got my heart fluttering for sure. My First was a 49 Ford and the second a 50 Merc. Of course this was in the late fifties. But, My, did that bring back many fond memories. Love the color too. It speaks to the "Richness" Of the designs available back then!!

Perfect choice of colors and the white walls tires add just the right touch. Add in your superb modeling skills and this one is a for sure winner! 

It reminds me of that Alan Jackson song, Crazy bout a Mercury....

Love those old "lead sleds". Raced against a few of them back in the late '50s and early '60s.

One of them ended up being owned by a guy I worked with in the late '80s. He still ownes it. He put a pic of him and the car, taken on the track back then, on his desk. I asked him if that was him in the pic and he said it was. I didn't say anything but the next day I brought in a pic of me and my car at the track. Had a good time talking about old times. We think we both won the same number of races against each other. At least we didn't have to argue about who won more. We still talk about the old days at least twice a year.

Turned out great.  The clear over gunmetal looks nice.   Amazing how much the outdoor pictures / natural light add to the photos.
