On the model I have there is a very slight molded line that you are to use for masking.
Isn't there one on yours?
I got my Williams the day it came to my hobby shop which wasn't long after release surprisingly. Maybe there is only the line on first runs?

I know it's only rock and roll, but I like it.

John, what I have is an aftermarket decal sheet, think from S27. That has a decal for the white curve going into the blue section on top of the sidepod. )No, I'm not planning on being lazy again... Wink [;)] )

What my plan is (when I eventually come to building them) to make a paper copy of that decal and apply that as a mask, having cut the masking tape from that paper copy.. Only idea I have - if anyone else had a brighter idea, please shout!

BTW, I presume that's the section you are talking about...

Happy building! (And pass on some tips once you've run across any hassles!)

I have the Tamiya Williams BMW formula 1 car and I know that it was a group build some time ago.

You some of you be willing to share tips on how you masked the body to spray the blue at the rear of the car.

I believe in surfing I saw a mask for sale but have long since lost track of the mask.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks, John
