Well I guess I will have to start all over. I did'nt think I was really putting it on to thick and that it was just where there are lips on the model. Also do you think high humidity might be a problem. I live in georgia and can only paint outside and being august the humidity is pretty thick.

HEY,
This may take a long time but to remove the paint i have used simple green. It takes a while for something this big but i had the same problem and this is what i had to do. You can get it anywhere that they sell cleaning products. Hope this helps.

I've often found that bubbling occurs when the paint is applied too thickly.
Or - it's a reaction with the undercoat.
The only fix I've found is to strip the paint and start again - try to make sure the overcoat won't eat the primer. Try using the same type of paint from the came manufacturer, or spray enamel top coat over automotive acrylic primer.

I am needing to know if there is a way to fix paint that has bubbled up. I used paint froma spray can on a 58 vette and where ever there is trim or anything it has bubbled up above it and looks real bad. I did'nt want to try and sand it or anything in case there is a better way to fix it. Thanks.
