I had an unusual find today at Hobby Lobby. I don't normally go there, but I found a 2" 1/2 inch globe that was too big around for my four foot X-wing. I looked all around, and found a wooden mushroom that was 2" inches exactly around! It only took me a couple of hours, and another trip to Arts United to see if there was anything that I didn't have to modify. Either way, I saw a myriad of models that weren't there the last time I was there. Maybe this is a good sign that making things with your own hands will pass down to the next generation afterall. Although there weren't very many Sci-Fi models there were a slew of military, and civilian models. Let us pray that this will continue on an upswing!
