It's great to see that the scratch building of scale models is still strong!

I'd like to see his face when he sees it!

That's a great gift...all I got my Dad is a steel rake! (In my defense...the man has EVERYTHING....except for a steel rake!)

MIflyer

Beautiful! It's always nice to see someone building GA aircraft.

Also great to see someone doing scratch work in wood.  Looks super!

I'm doing some wood carving on my 747 Dreamlifter conversion, and it so nice carving good wood.  Very theraputic!  My mind wanders in free association while my hands just seem to have a mind of their own and take over the work :-)

Tanker - Builder

Big Question !

Did you engrave or draw the panel lines for the cowl and flaps and elevators . Just curious , Why ? You did very nice line work . That's Why !  T.B.

Neither.  The N-Numbers, Lancair 290 Logo, Red Stipes, and Panel lines are decals that I made.

Thanks for the compliments

Added the Light Blue.  There are a few areas that need to be touched up before gloss coat.

Are you going to gloss coat the canopy and windows, or leave them matt?
