Might try looking in your local area for more industrial places. Here in KC we have a place called Metal By the Foot.

I didnt think to look if they shipped. I'v always had it delivered to my work, but, thats local.

Have you tried Small Parts?

Yep. The forum maintenance has fragged the link feature. www.smallparts.com.

I once worked for an exotic metals company in Albuquerque.  They had brass, bronze, stainless steel, in all shapes and sizes.  You might look up "exotic metals -- retail" in the yellowpages, or on http://www.switchboard.com

Here's one source in Florida: http://www.sunbeltmetals.com

(It doesn't look, from this end, like the hyperlinks work, but you know the drill: cut and paste into your browser.)

Does anyone know where to get brass or stainless strip longer than a 12"?  Looking for some 24" long, preferably 3/4" wide.  Thickness 1/8" or thinner.
