Bezobrazov Triplane: Wings, verson 2.0

Okay, I've had time to simmer, calm down, and reevaluate.  The last time I tried to scratchbuild this sucker it ended with a smashed airplane against the wall.  For the complete rundown, check HERE.

Well, it's official.  I'm trying this build again!  Here's what I got so far:

Nothin' too fancy yet.  Just a started fuselage and a seat that's 100% better than my last try.  This time I'm going to spend a bit more time in the interior, a spot definitely lacking in my previous attempt.

Wish me luck!  Hopefully this build goes better than the last one....

Alright, we have an update!  Since last time I've added an interior, a curved upper decking, a tail, and (most importantly) a brand-spakin' new set of wings.

The wings are simply curved sheet brass (primed on one side to check for continuity) and a huge improvement over the older sanded-plastic wings.

While technically not as accurate as the others, they are close enough to survive close scrutiny.  They are much more stable than the older wings and lack the droop which plagued my last attempt.  Here's a photo or two from my old build:

...and the comparison from my NEW build:

I'm feeling REAL good about this one!  This time I'm going to try my hand at scratchbuilding an engine and a cowl next (last time they were taken from an Avro 504).  Probably the only thing NOT scratched on this one will be the wheels and the prop.

Stay tuned for updates!
