where to find a larger scale 747 kit?
Posted by Reaper420 on Friday, October 4, 2013 1:05 PM
So I always do military planes but I decided that I would like to do a civil 747 kit maybe do Air Force One. But my question is can I get a kit already with AF1 decals or is there a place I can get some? Also I would like a slightly larger 747 model scale say 1:100 so is there a place that I can find one of those? Any help would be much appreciated.

There is an Entex 1/100 747 on ebay now, I'll bet it is huge. $150.00 plus shipping. Several over $200 as well. I just received a 1/100 L-1011, can't wait to get crazy with this beast.

See here: www.aim72.co.uk/page9.html

They have an Air Force One conversion (and others) in the works.

You can buy it here: www.hannants.co.uk/.../TW7212001

Revell makes a 1/144th Air Force One. I'm going to make one and build it in Kalitta Colors for my dad who is a First Officer on the -200

I have an Entex 1/100 B-747.  It is pretty large.  Mine came as a dual kit with a 1/100 DC-3.  I don't remember what I paid for it as it's been in my stash for over 25 years...

All the best

The Revell Kit is an E-4B, not a VC-25.

Dragon have released their 1/144 kit as a VC-25 in AF1 colours
