Any interest in an Airliner GB?
Posted by Fly-n-hi on Sunday, October 12, 2014 2:57 PM

I posted this in the Aircraft forum but I was told I should post here, too.  Sorry for the repeat.  And I realize there are several GBs underway or starting soon.

Anyway, I'm about to finish an airliner kit and I have a few more airliner kits in my stash.  I'm going to start a new one as soon as I finish the current one so I figured why not see if there is any interest in making a GB out of it.

I'm thinking very simple rules...any passenger carrying air service aircraft.  Crossovers and partially built models would be ok.

Let me know what you all think!

Ok, there seems to be about 5 or 6 peeps who say they'd be interested.  So I will probably end up hosting it.

Also, Its been brought to my attention that there will be a boeing GB going on, as well, so that will give guys the opportunity to crossover into more than one GB.

Banshee1000,

This thread has moved to the Group Builds forum, ask "Fly-n-hi" there, but I'm sure he will welcome you with open arms.

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Cody,

Just an FYI, the GB thread has moved to the group builds forum. I don't want your post to go unnoticed by Fly-n-hi.

I build and enjoy building airliners.  Due to display space I am limited to scales 1/144 or smaller.  I worked for the airlines for 43 years.  Capital Airlines from 1950 to 1961 when Capital/United Airlines merged and retired in 1993.  Worked many many different aircraft  charters during baseball, football, hockey seasons.

Found a wonderful vendor who has be making my decals.  Dutch
