ICM Beech 18/C-45

I am very much looking forward to this kit.  My most anticipated.

I am also eagerly awaiting this.  I love the Twin Beech!

Cool! I made the Hobbycraft version in RAF Cammo and it came out great!

Have a friend used to fly freight in 18's. Seems like yesterday. Might be fun to build one for him, thanks for the heads-up, John.

The link also shows what appears to be a test shot of the sprues. I hope that means that this kit is finally coming to fruition. If so, I can't wait to get my hands on one or two... or five.

Boy, we seem to have a number of Twin Beech fans here.  I want to build a highly polished one like the pictures I saw of one in Beech museum out east somewhere.  And I want to build another as a ramp queen we have at a local airport- on engine and cowling gone, tires flat, transparencies all frosted. I guess it is abandoned there.

Well, it's here! Finally! Looks like Squadron managed to get a few. Get 'em while the gettin' is good!

Looks like runforcover has them for a little better price on eBay.  Mine is on the way.

My supplier just said he had my kit and I will pick it up Saturday.  Really looking forward to it.

I received this kit today and like it a whole lot.  I am probably in love, LUV.  Very nice shape and detail, though I will be reducing the prominence of the ribs on fabric covered surfaces.  It's raised detail and should not be difficult to do.  The windshield and nose shapes look very good in the box and the outward cant of the engine nacelles is just right.  The cowlings are of the later low drag type that many 18's were modified to and G's and H's were built with.

Got my kit yesterday!  Looks very nice, though the engines do not maybe look as nice as rest of kit. I may order resin engines.

  Did you say Twin Beech Fans ? You betchya ! The girls were lined up in Buffalo in the fifties . Allegheny Airlines . Gees , they were pretty . T.B.      P.S. Years ago I think Comet had a plastic one .I had dozens in my collection,  with crude copying of the Airline logos . I was younger then and tried to do better than the terrible decals they put in the box

I used Engines and Things resin engines. Ordered and got them from Roll Models- they advertise in Fine Scale.
