Those Lindberg kits are problematic, but it depends on your building skill. I recently did the Laird Turner. Used a resin engine and completely scratchbuilt the interior (the interiors on those kits are the worst parts). Turned out pretty nice.
Also had to fill backs of prop blades and wheel struts, make some new airscoops (kit ones wrong shape). Don't remember the GeeBee that well, haven't built one of those in decades.
