Very, very nice. Great to see a model of this aircraft built and it brings back some great memories of when I used to jump out of a red and white one back in the late '70's. I wish I had the talent to build one but seeing that I don't, thanks for posting yours.
Thanks,Kevin Keefe

Can almost smell the exhaust fumes as she is cranked up; outstanding work, Dave!!

Yes,..the rivets were dusted down. I just wanted to do something other than that natural metal scheme. Thanks also for the nice comments! Dave.
Gosh it's nice to see one of those built up! Sure brings back memories of those "box scale" civil aircraft kits from the 50's. I too am curious if you sanded off the rivets before applying that awesome paint job...
Nice job, the paint scheme is one of the best for the 180. I need to build more of those, the last one I did was in 1965. I was flying a 1953 180 back then, N1505C.

Nice clean build. Very cool. What scale is it?
Very nice Dave.
I'm trying to get a 185 out of mine.
Did you retain all the rivets or sand off?
Tony
Thought I'd share some pics of my Monogram Cessna 180. Hope you like it! Dave.
