The color of Songbird's interior is unknown. Military AT-17s and UC-78s had a gray or brown interior, in materials similar to that used in automobiles of the period, but civil owners had a wide variety of materials and colors to choose from. Cessna did provide interior kits for those aircraft converted post-WW II, but documentation of those has not yet been found.

Instrument panels were usually black, sometimes in a "crackle" finish.

Thanks, I was wondering if the interior matched the exterior of the plane, in this case a red interior. I read that the Songbird was supposed to be an EX military so the interior could be anything, I wonder if the model mfg has an accurate call out.

Thanks for the response,

Dan

I thought the plans gave the color for civil and military. I assumed the civil color would be right for the Songbird.  I thought I remembered "blue" and just checked my model- I did paint them blue.
