Interesting, although I've only built a couple old airliner kits, I think this the first time I've seen the fuselage halves as top and bottom as opposed to the traditional port and starboard halves. I know fighter aircraft with variable position wings are kitted this way (such as the Tornado and Tomcat), but is this a new trend with airliners?
