Cessna 310 RC model Aircraft
Posted by Tony D on Sunday, July 29, 2012 4:55 PM

I am putting together a Cessna 310 RC model aircraft and I would like to know what type of navigation light sits on top of the tail, is it a blinking white light or a blinking red light?

White

Edit: Sorry, I think I was wrong - it seems it is red. See pic of full size here:

Should be: "Don't know what a Bud Nosen is"?

When you posted "RC" I assumed Radio Control. Bud Nosen makes a big scale model of the 310.

It is made by Dynam out of China. There isn't any RC aircraft that is made here in the US.

I think you are right, just about everything is made in China now days. Bud Nosen made 1/4 scale rc planes for a long time so they may be out of business now. He made a huge 310 that was a beauty. I have a Nosen 1/4 scale Citabria that I built over 20 years ago and still flies great powered by a Zenoah G23. I also have a 1/4 scale Cub made by Horizon that's a beauty. It too is about 18 years old powered by a 1.2  four cycle which sounds like the real thing. I have more birds in my hanger. Just getting into RC?

Bud Nosen has a website and is a very good place to buy wood for building.  I think he still sells some plans.
