Finished the Italeri Parthenon. To finish up in a hurry to show at Nordiccon, I didn't have time to wire up the LED light I intended, so I stuck one of those LED tea lights in the attic. That meant the roof needed to stay removable and I couldn't fill seams between the four panels. I intend later to mount the model on a base, which will allow hiding a battery box and switch in the base. Anyway, here is how it stands for now.

.I had uploaded a third pic, but there seems to be a problem with it at Photobucket (which seems to be getting unusable these days!).

Oh krap, saw this the other day on my phone and was going to comment when I got to a real keyboard and then forgot. Really sharp work here Don. Looking forward the final finished photos.
Good luck with the show, hope you grab a nice first place here.

I haven't figured out the scale yet. Neither the box nor the instructions give the scale. I will have to look up the dimensions of the Parthenon. The instructions do give the final size of the built kit (I will measure to make sure). I can then compute the scale. I expect it will be some weird non-standard scale.
