I'd suggest posting this request at http://www.timelinesforum.com/ and www.planetfigure.com/forum

Help with updating an older model/figure
Posted by mrmartin75 on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 2:12 PM

I do apologize now if this topic is not in direct relation to figures, however i just need help being pointed to the right area. I have seen the work that everyone does here and it's simply amazing. So i figured, ask the amazing people where to go! So...small story..

My in-laws house of 37 years burned down on Christmas this past year. Electrical..no fault of my in-laws and no one was injured. After the fire we dug around to see what we could salvage. I found My mother-in-laws AMT Budweiser 1/20 scale model of the Budweiser Clydesdale's and wagon that her Dad gave to her 1 month before he died. It's in bad shape, so i decided i was going to rebuild it. Not just rebuild, but update to more today's detail standards. So here's where all your awesomeness comes in..

I have the driver of the wagon, poorly painted and in bad shape. I was hoping to find a sculptor to re-make him and make another person similar to the first, but different. Like a whole different person. For all the Clydesdale's wagons today are driven by 2 drivers. The kit only comes with one, and a Dalmatian dog. (also looks horrid) So, where would you suggest i start looking to find someone who could help me out? Here's a pic of the Budweiser Clydesdale driver

I can send the wagon to help with the fitting. and i could send the original driver.
I thank you very much for taking the time to read my sob story, and any help is greatly appreciated.

Mike
