I think the Swiss use a digital camoflage too. But these coveralls actually are a older design I believe. The olive drab straps on the inside are the rescue harness which is acessed from a zipper on the back.

I am prety sure that the Canadian armed forces use their own digital camo pattern  nowadays. The ones I ran into in the Balkans had a green digital camo uniform. Yes that is the Swiss alpenflage camo. The Bundeswehr uses a different pattern- Flecktarn- that is similar to the late WWII peadot pattern used by the SS.

I'm not all that well versed on modern camou, but being Canadian I have to wonder about the conclusion that Canadian tankers had at some point in the past, adopted this pattern for coveralls.

So I started searching the net, and to me, it resembles a Swiss design (and has no German origin, other than the SS of WWII?).

Known as TAZ 83 or Apenfage by military collectors.

regards,

Jack

I picked this coverall up last saturday (6/1/13) at a yard sale in Alpena Michigan for $8. Now I do believe that Canadian tankers used this exact model of coveralls since they do use German made tanks. I'm putting the pics I took of this up here so people will see what these look like and see what the camo pattern looks like too.

BTW I don't really know this was a 90's or 2000's issued uniform.
