Modeling is an excuse to buy books.
Steve,
Wow. That is pretty darn cool.
Is it hollow? Or parts all the way through? Or do you have some framework on the inside?
Paul
Thanks! I bought a big box of figures and 1/35 scale junk of of ebay for this project and it consumed most of it- The planes are japanese 1/700-
Very stress free, no sanding, don't care about the fit, seams or using too much glue, or the instructions lol
Pegasus models just released a 20'000 leagues under the sea nautilus that comes with a giant squid! Just what I was looking for.......
That is truly inspiring.sorta steam punk meets middle earth.gotta try something along those lines
Wow, now that is cool!!!
I love the aircraft on the trunk and what looks like US infantry figures in the howdah. (I think that's the correct term)

Hello- A few years ago I became very bored with scale models, which I thought was weird because I had been interested in them for over 40 years. I think as an artist I could build something to the Nth degree, but there were still limits to what could be done. With these subjects, there are no limits, and the therapy of taking an old kits and combining them all into the parts bin is liberating!
