Great Lakes Warrior 1763

Here is La Meridiana’s 200 mm Great Lakes Warrior form 1763, during Pontiac’s Rebellion following the French and Indian War. He is wearing French military style clothing with native accessories. The figure is similar \to one in Osprey’s Great Lakes Indians book. The tribe could be any of several from the region including the Ottowa. I used fly tying feathers since the molded ones werte too heavy.

Amazing facial details. The wood base you chose was excellent! I am not familiar with the kit manufacturer, but the level of detail looks awesome. Brilliant job overall!

French and Indian War is very interesting.  Pontiac's uprising is great history.  I have seen the reenactments at Fort Michilimackinac and toured their interactive displays at the Fort....wonderful stuff

AJ: Another excellent bust! I'm always impressed with all the detail painting you do on the face, warpaint, and clothing.
