You're more tahn welcome and I hope the final result will please you....:) Try washing twice and after one day brush the skin with a dry brush with stronger hair, it cleans the excess of artistic oil....:)

Figures are a big part of all my aircraft builds, and poor figures can spoil a good diorama, so its somthing i really want to improve on.

I will have to give that a try rather than mixing the Flesh to get a match. I use xtracolour flesh, but its pretty close to Humbrol. Thanks for the tip.

Thanks a lot, I am really pleased you have enjoyed these figs so much.

As regards your question, for the skin colours I use Humbrol 61 (Flash) and washes with artistic oils (Burnt Sienna).

Nice work on the figures, can't believe how good the chest eagle look's, I really struggle to get those right, and the faces as well.

What do you use for skin colours.

Though not top-notch quality but accurate, for many years Hasegawa’s “WWII Pilot Figure Set” has emerged as an important choice for WWII aircraft fans. In addition, the idea of providing 3rd Reich, Japanese, and US/UK pilots in the same box has made the set to address to larger target groups. The Luftwaffe pilots are now fully reviewed at the below link, images also featuring a "forced" conversion of one US pilot into a Wehrmacht soldier. http://www.ww2germans.com/index.php/component/content/article/16-reviews/303-hasegawa-pilot-figure-set-35008-ext The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 is built and painted by my friend Calin Ungureanu (Wurger). I hope you like it. Cristian Florescu
