It's written in Italian followed by an English translation. In can get a bit frustrating at times as the Italian is first and in boldface while English is in italics. I constantly found myself attracted to the boldface.

Other than this minor problem I really like it.

Heck, just go to YouTube a search something like "How to paint Warhammer figures" and you'll get about 150 video tutorials.

I'll second the YouTube pointer - there are also a load of pretty informative blogs & sites out there on the subject.

Yep, You Tube is great. You can access just about anything, Heck I even fixed my Whirlpool refrigerator and riding lawnmower with the You Tube  tutorials!

YouTube is most definitely a resource. Its main problem is finding the gems among all the detritus. What is really frustrating is finding a video that seems to fit your needs only to discover its a teaser for a DVD sale or the guy that made it never posted the remainder of his build. Lots of time can be wasted.

However, I suppose that's better than wasting $$$ on an equally useless book.

Bottom line is there isn't a magical technique out there that will turn you into a master. Like any other artistic skill it takes practice.

Yeah, I've watched it several times and some of her others. In this case maybe I was wrong. This lady does seem to perform magic in painting her figures.
