Very nice clean job! Just wondering did you brush paint or airbrush her?

Very cool! Just wondering if the dress, hair, etc were separate parts are did you have to mask all that? If you did, wow!

Thank you, Gamera!  I appreciate your comments!

The hair was in two halves, a thin front piece with the two front curls and the curl over the face, and then the large part of the rear hair and ears, so that was the only difficult masking.  The hair had to be glued together over the head and face after painting the face, so I only had to mask the face and neck to putty, sand and repaint.

These kits are fun, but there is always one painful part like that!  I built this Sol Angel Rebirth a few years ago, and it had the same problem; the left arm has to be attached before the right arm can be attached, but because of the overlapped pieces it was necessary to prepaint everything, then attach the arm, putty and sand and then repaint it..  It's always painful to take sandpaper to the finished paint!

Hi Raualduke.  It's a mix of Model Master Enamel white, red and yellow.  The light surfaces are highlighted with white and the base and shadow areas of the body were darkened with straight yellow, and blended over with the original base..

Oh wow that's cool! I just got back into figure modeling so I can appreciate what a pain some stuff like that can be to mask and paint. Nothing as complex as that though!
