2012/2013 USAF HH60 flight crews

Long time out of the forum, but with a due date and several hours of net research under me today I am turning here for help.  I have just re-watched Inside Combat Rescue for the 3rd time and will use that as my base for a quick build.  I have a dio idea that is due May 15  I can get by with JUST the current flight crew uniforms, and add PJs / wounded later.

Ive been out of the loop for a few years and Im seeing a lot of companies ive never heard of before.

Im looking for 1/35 helo crew for a Acadamy Blackhawk with modern style helmets the ones that look like a caving helmet with tactical rails on the side.

I am pretty sure I can modify the Acadamy SPH4 helmets to reflect the modern helmets with the face armor and blocky ear cups. How to handle the rest of the modern fligt rig....well...I have no good ideas on that.

Live Resin seems to have the right helmet for the PJs and infantry  but I cant find a head to fit it on....will a live resin helmet fit on any 1/35 bare head?  The Live Resin infantry seems to be wearing all the body armor that was not shown in the show.  arm bands and groin pads and such.

Everythign I have found online that says "modern" is typical 80s Vintage stuff like what I had when I was in .  Being a current Astan project it needs to reflect that.

Are there any conversion topics out there? ive done my searches but came up with nothing helpful.

this image is pretty typical of what was seen on the show. Each PJ seemed to lay out his vest and his personal gear differently.

Looking for help on this one, im a bit ouf of my league with these "current" figures. Im good to go and well in progress on the helo conversion.

thanks!

OK--so I kept digging after I posted

I found a set of VIP escorts from Dragon ( I think) that look like they can be modified to fit the part, and I found Black Dog modern heads at Hobbylinc....but I dont see the helmets they wore at HobbyLinc so Ill keep looking for those.

In time that will yeild my PJs,    Still looking for the crew.  Maybe its possible to modifty the figures using these figures as a base since they have the more or less correct gear, but I would much rather have a usable figure than have to cobble them together.

Here is a post that shows just about all the available 1/35 helicopter crews.

The Nemrod Crew is the most current, but hardest to find.  The Acdaemy/MRC OH-58D pilots are the next best thing.

Live Resin is supposed to be working on a modern crew for the Black Hawk.  Hopefully, they will be available soon.  They also do heads to go with their helmets.  For Live-Resin items, I find it best to order directly from the at their web site:
