60's female?
Posted by TheWaggishAmerican on Thursday, September 28, 2017 8:17 AM

Hello all,

I've been planning a couple of diorama's and vignettes I would like to do, and even though I have several idea's, I have had a hard time finding the necessary figures- in this case, I want to do a vignette of this picture:

Does anyone know where I could get a female figure with a similar hairstyle and clothing? Postioning doesn't matter, I'll modify that. I'm looking for something 1/35 scale or larger

On the Bench- 1/48 Revell Bf-109G10, 1/72 Airfix A6M2, 1/144 Sweet A6M2.

Hi ;

 You might find something in the Master-Box line .1/24 . But you might have to make clothes for her !  T.B.

As TB says you might be able to adapt one of Master Box's 1/24th figures designed to go with autos.

I have seen this around though, one of the figures is sorta the same pose and dress:

If nothing else you can get Preiser's 32nd scale female nude set which includes a box of various parts that can be assembled as you please. You'd have to sculpt clothing of course:

(it might be cheaper to shop around, their price is insane, I paid about thirty-five for mine and thought it was too much)

Thanks for the link to the Machine gun girls! I'll probably get those, and check out the Masterbox stuff as well.

I got the MG Girls from HLJ late last month at 35% off, and now it's out of stock. The kit doesn't include machine guns so I use Dragon's German WWII Gun Set. Now "PJ" my best figure painter is working on them.
