Hey Rudy, it looks great! I'd be proud of that paint work. Nice job.

I think you did a good job on this one. I have always wanted to do one of these larger figures and I would be happy if my first attempt looked like this. Nice work!

https://imgur.com/a/IcE9cEL Hello all, embarking on my first "serious" attempt at a decent-sized figure. I picked up a 120mm German machine gunner in winter camo from Andrea Miniatures, at my local IPMS's Bi-annual "USA VS CANADA" show. I got the figure, a "flesh color" paint set, and a "winter camp" white set, both also from Andrea. I got these items from Dave Youngquist at "Last Cavalry" from here in the Detroit suburbs. Looks like very nice stuff, and Dave was very helpful as well. I highly recommend lastcavalry.com for your figure/paint/toy soldier/gaming needs. I only have the pic of what I bought for tonight, but I will update with more pics of my progress by the weekend at the latest. I have the figure's body assembled, filled, sanded and primed, and I started painting a bit. Had to throw everything in the dehydrator though as the primer was still tacky in spots. I look forward to any tips, criticism etc. keep in mind this is my first figure that is not 1/35, and I've only done maybe 4 of those. I figured it's easier to get the technique down on a larger figure than the other way around.... thank you for your time

Update 11/15/18, the Face and Eyes have a long way to go. Maybe I can go back and fix them when I get good at it. I'd be happy if I could paint two eyes that look the same! This was a lot of fun, I have a lonnnnnggggg way to go, but you have to start somewhere! I am moving in a week, but after that I have a 1/10 Life Miniatures "panzer commander" to try next. I want to get some fake snow to add, I just didnt have any. I also forgot to weathere and chip up his mess kit. Its a little too shiny as well. Thanks for looking!

             Thanks!
