Newbie trying to find minatures for WW2 U.S. and Germans

Hey guys i was just wondering what websites are out there where i could find sets of soldiers in world war two era. i would eventually like to make dioramas and have no idea where to look. thanks Smile [:)]

if its 1/35 your looking for and dont want to spend too much the dragon kits are dioramas in themselves and the Tamiya kits are pretty good too.

the scale really dosent matter. any advice on the scale? trying to get a feel with what i have to work with. I take it the dragon and tamiya have websites? thanks for the help.

Dumb question here but i just want to make sure. when you look at the scale of the modes i take it that the soldier and tank/airplane scales are the same.

There are some tricks you can play called "forced perspective" by mixing different scales in a diorama. But, most diorama's I see are constructed in the same, or very close, scale. Following are some sites to check out for figures and other diorama stuff.

Do a search on www.greatmodels.com or www.squardron.com for "1/48 figures". You will find several options. Also, here's another site that has a lot of figures and diorama stuf".

If your building a dio for tanks 1/35 is the way to go.
