A WW2 idea
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, August 19, 2004 11:43 PM
Here's an idea for you figure/armour buffs (no offence but I'm an aircraft man). Have a make-shift bridge made from a wrecked Japanese truck in the middle of a river. I saw a picture of this in a WW2 in the Pacific book (can't remember the titleSad [:(]). It looked pretty good.

sounds OK, not so sure how it would be positioned though. if it had a wooden bed and canopy frame it wouldn't work, the wood just couldn't support the weight of vehicles and the like. I have seen a tank used like a bridge in an old WWII movie in the pacific theatre, but then again they were using Shermans to represent Jap "armor" in that film.

neat Idea though, inspiration for something else like that. thnx for sharing it.
