My first:

 It was a gift-A High winged,Twin Engined Commuter plane. It had a military designation too, but I forget what it was. Kit went together pretty decent. It was from England. That's all I remember.

      My second unexpectedly was the Graf Zeppelin by Hawk. Most modelers didn't know the sanding work had been done. They just thought it was rather weak Styrene. I had four hanging from the trees outside my window.

Philo426;

 Have you built Vac kits before? The reason I ask is this. Many irregular builders of them Forget to sand down the thickness of the sheet from the edges of the parts and it messes them up.

If you haven't joined already, try the Paper Modelers Forum. There are a lot of us over there doing both paper and plastic.

Brandon K;

     The Rabbit Hole known as Paper or Card models isn't as deep as you think. There's a lot, But very little in Cars and Armor. It's mostly Childish stuff and Arty stuff, then a Good strong Dose of Buildings and Shipsand Planes. There are more showing up, but I've not seen many. The Cost and Selection is what drove this old Mariner there.

"Shane" is a classic western film starring Alan Ladd, who plays the title role. As he rides off into the sunset at the end of the film, the young boy who idolizes him calls out, "Shane! Don't go! Shane! Come back!"

Honestly, I don't know anything, and I mean anything, about paper models. I avoid this section because, not that I'm not interested, but I need another subject to model like a need a hole in my head. You see, it's not that I don't think it would be interesting, dare I say fastenating, but I know that it's just another modeling rabbit hole I don't need to go down. Otherwise I would hang out here. It's kinda like drugs, you only need to try it once and you are hooked. I don't need that. Stick around elsewhere, I do read your posts. I just don't always have anything great to offer up. I am lurking around them however.

 Who Dat?

            I just thought I would back off a little. The Andrea Doria and life in general is getting center stage. Being President of the Board of a local Historical Entity is giving me fits during Covid.

Hi Ya'll;

      I write this with regret. I heretofore will refrain from Posting here. Why? well, it seems like I am the only one thats really interested in Paper Models that posts regularly.

      I like plastic too, but there's only so many vessels that interest me and they certainly are NOT put out by the plastic companies. Oh, I understand why, but still. It's a shame to have to go to a model Railroad store to get a decent tug I can enjoy.

      I have tried to build a following by showing how varied paper can be. I cannot afford the market prices for these Monstrous 1/32 Planes and 1/200 plastic Ships and 1/16 scale Armor. So I will pull back and go hide in my workshop for a while. Bye Ya'll!
