Again, I meant this to be a derelict, stripped of its name and left to drift, exposed to the solar radiation for years. I think I did a good job and came close to what I wanted. 

I honestly do not like that pictures never fully do justice to how it looks in real life.

Ohhhhhhhh very cool! I'll admit you had me wondering 'what the heck' in the first two photos but she came out great! Love the blacked registration name and numbers.

I like these kits for the good quality at cheap cost and size, but since the world has enough "Enterprise"s, I am always trying to find a new identity for these ships. This was my "lazy" one. The only hard part was painting it.

I was originally going to mark it as a 'pirate ship' I.e. That it had been dry- docked and then stolen by pirates, and gave the ship some "add-ons" to reflect that, but couldn't figure out good name and emblem, so I just blacked out the name and registry and called it done.

At that size of lettering, I would see them stripping the paint from the hull letters instead of painting over the hull. I like the idea of the ship being "repurposed" by pirates or adventurers.
