So, the 1/1000 Polar lights TOS Enterprise is probably the most "kit-bashable" kit in the sci-fi universe, at least IMHO. I've seen so many variations of this kit, so I thought it was time I try my own kitbash. This is the U.S.S. Collins, named after a WW2 Australian naval hero. I call it a Federation scout type vessel, although I didn't give much more thought to the background.
The build is basically the saucer and engines from the Polar Lights kit, with a whole bunch of styrene and Milliput to fill out the rest. I basically gave it a Larson class hull, only with two nacelles, because I find single nacelled ships just off-balance or something. I also borrowed John Payne's design for the shuttlebay, which I placed aft of the bridge module. Here's some pics for you to ogle:

Not my best build. Basically just a quickie to get it out of the stash. Once it started coming together I was pretty happy with it though. It's always nice to put another model on the shelf.

Though I've seen the basic layout before on the non-canon Larson class, the added touches of the shuttlebay and deflector make it fit in-canon Federation design features better than that original.

The largest product line so far is TOS parts. Working on getting more Refit parts going and there's a handful of Excelsior/E-B parts on the "to do" list. The 1/32 scale Work Bee is a very hot seller too.
