The police cruiser from "Lilo and Stich" would be fun to do. Especially "the red one"!

I am wondering if anyone will come out with a model of that neat little jet copter from Oblivion. The drones would be neat too...

I'm not sure if this has been covered, but what about the transportation cruiser in the Hunger Games? How popular right now, you would think somebody would have been ready for that one.

What about imaginated scratch-builds of ships from novels not yet appearing in a film?  Like...  Hober Mallow's ship the Far Star, from Asimov's Foundation series...  base it on descriptions from the books...  could be fun.

Another one I thought of...

Hmmmm, interesting idea there, I have thought about trying to scratchbuild something to represent Dominic Flandry's 'Hooligan'.

I am currently scrounging parts to bash into a SA-2 Samson helo from Avatar. Their Scorpion Gunship, Dragon and Valkyrie would be cool too.

Bill.

On the bench:  Lindberg 1/32 scale 1934 Ford Coupe and a few rescue projects.

In queue:  Tamiya 1/35 Quad Tractor or a scratch build project.

Anybody remember the show "Space: Above and Beyond"? I'd like to see a Hammerhead and the Saratoga. Even the troop transport would be cool.

Oh, and how about the ship from Pigs in Space, just kidding. (or am I?)

[http://www.fantastic-plastic.com/HammerheadFighterCatalogPage.htm] Fantastic Plastic has Hammerhead, in stock, retail price: $75.00 + shipping. Have fun!

Scratch another model off my Wish-list, I just received a garage resin kit bought of Ebay for one of the few Trek ships I have always wanted:

1/1000 scale so it will be same scale as my NX01 Refit by Polar Lights, looks pretty good quality. Kit was from Jupiter Station. Building log to follow.

Star Wars- Rebel Blockade Runner, Super Star Destroyer, Mon Calamari Cruiser, TIE Bomber...

I would love to see an injection TIE Bomber. I don't even know if the resin one is still around. But I can't see any of these coming along now. When the next movies are released we will see a flurry of new kits and maybe some re leases of the old ones.

I finally got hold of a TIE Bomber a few weeks back. Its a resin kit, but it looks very nice and is in 72nd scale.

So with all of these wish lists of kits and the new 3D technology, how long before we send our blueprint request to a company and get our most off the wall kit made?  Would love to do some Star Wars large scale clone wars with clones vs droids - be awesome in 1/72 scale

Republic Gunship! ( I know Revell Germany already did one, but it is quite simplified). From the original trilogy: Rebel Blockade Runner/Tantive IV, TIE Bomber, Rebel Transport, Super Star Destroyer, Mon Calimari Cruiser (It's a trap!!!) ;-)

@stik, most ( if not all) of the Star Wars kits you listed ( Blockade runner, Rebel transport, Executor, Mon Cal, etc.) have been done in Resin, but not injected. I've seen them listed on starship modeler, but their mostly always out of stock. The Executor was a limited- run kit, if I recall, that was 4ft long when finished!

Would be nice for these to be made as an affordable injection- molded kit, though.

Since you guys are talking about Star Wars already, is there any large kit of an Imperial Star Destroyer? I know some company made a resin kit (which looks awesome IMO), but they only produced 100 of them and they (and all the copies that were made) seem to be impossible to get...

SS, MPC did a Star Destroyer kit after Empire Strikes Back, and re issued it in a new boxing for Return of the Jedi. It was around a foot or so long when built. It was typical of their other Star Wars kits of that era.

Klik, I would sure prefer injection molded from a mainstream model company. Then it would be far more likely to be in my price range. Resin kits almost always are except on clearance or secondhand

Thanks Stik! I'll have to look into that MPC kit.

On the other hand, I just found the big resin kit I mentioned on evilbay. One of the 100 original ones too! I can't order something that expensive (520 bucks + shipping and taxes), at least not this month (my modelling budget for April is almost spent already) and the kit is only up untill tomorrow. My LHS on the other hand buys stuff on ebay for their regular customers (which I am), so maybe I can talk the owner into ordering it for me... Stick out tongue

That monster is a 74cm x 43cm resin model btw (weighting 8 pounds). It would eat up my modelling budget of 2 and a half months, but I think it's worth it (those kits were damn rare already when they were still in production and the situation is only going to get worse)

That MPC kit isn't to bad, I have seen them built up really nicely. I think I still have the one I built but never finished some where. I have been on a mission to replace all the Star Wars kits I built years ago, I think that's the only one I haven't re bought, not to sure I will bother, unless one comes up on e-bay at a decent price. I did get the AT-AT last week again though.
