No problem Gamera, I can't wait to get started on it! However I have other projects to do first.

Silentbob, it is really a nice kit and well worth the price. If you can swing it I do recommend the kit.

Starshipmodeler.com now has the kit in stock. There are only 7 in stock so you may need to decide quickly.

in box review of the JPG Victory Star Destroyer

Hi everyone, this is my third try at this (my tablet keeps erasing my work) so I will break this up into separate postings.

We have the JPG  Victory Star Destroyer (Heavy Cruiser) in 1/2256 scale. This pairs well with the JPG Acclamator, Revell Venator, the Annigrand or Randy Cooper Avenger Star Destroyer and a myriad of other kits.

This kit was 3D rendered by Nicholas Sagan, Mastered by Stefan Hacker and casted by JPG.

The top of the hull is pretty well cast.

Very few casts are perfect and mine had these two flaws.

Both should be easily fixed, although the pour stub will require care as it is in a delicate position. Here is a pic of the Venator next to the Victory.

The bottom of the hull is also well cast

Check out the panel lines and detailing.

Then we get to the back of the ship and the superstructure.

I forgot to get an individual  pic of the superstructure, but I did get one of the side detailing.

Okay, I am going to stop and post this so I don't lose my work again. Next up the small stuff.
