30. The cable attachments. I had the choice of two. The first one and the second version. I choose the second alternative just beacuse of the way it looked. Alternative 1. Alternative 2. Alternative two mounted together and base painted. Will dry brush it before mounting it to the Electro attachments. The cable will not be glued as I want make any changes if I am not 100% satisfied with the look after mounting it. So there are mount holes at each end that will make it possible to just shove the cable in the and out it the need arises. This is one of the main reasons I chose to use lead soldering thread as the cable. It makes it possible to pose the cable exactly the way I want it without any movement.

Love how she's going so far. Great work with the gizmology and the paint too!

A few years ago I had the chance to observe many of the filming miniatures used in the movies including the podracer Sebulba used. You are definitely on track!

31. I decided use another wire that I found in a dumspters. I simply cut both ends to reveal the copper wire inside. Then I measured the distance between the two Electro attachments and made the cut. I also

wrapped a much smaller wire around the the thicker one. I just thought it would add to the overall look. Then I primed the wires with black charcoal paint and then dried brushed them with silver.

She turned out awesome Tiking! If you hadn't told me what the parts started as I'd have no idea, great job working everything in there. And the paint looks great too.

Tiking! I've never scratch built or kitbashed anything, but have been feeling very inspired to do it soon. Work is busy right now, but I have a long stretch of time coming up this summer and fall and have several kitbashing projects that I am passionate and eager to begin. However, have felt a bit intimidated, being a newbie to this Hobby and in particular to scratch building. But you're WIP shots of this project, and others you have built, really inspire me! The way you break the project down and the way your mind works to build the piece really is a tutorial for me as somebody just stepping into this part of the hobby. It makes me feel like maybe I can do this! Thanks for the inspiration, thanks for the learning, thanks for the guidance. Even though these posts are a couple years old, you are really reaching people with your great work. Looking forward to having some posts of my own later this year. If they come out a fraction as good as some of your work, I will be thrilled. Thanks again!

Very kind words from you, Rinny. I do appreciate your confidence. Thank you. Sometimes when I decide on a design, I usually have the look I want in my head. But in reality it may not look right. So, I just dry fit the parts and look at it from very angle to see if it looks good and if it fits in with the rest. If I'm satisfied, then it gets glued. I do this with all parts.

Uh Uh !

The name of that part is the Fleugen Ting Embrassuresparken . I do like what you are doing . So , Then a personal sub from an F-16 isn't to far out ?

Are you going to build another so we can see a Pod-Race ?

...so how come those fancy pants designers wrecking the current Star Wars vehicles cannot do stuff like this?

Your pod racer looks really good, is not derivative (but I immediately know what it's supposed to be), I can't spot any major kit part turned backwards/upside down, and it looks "right".

It's not at all like a hollow core door with one end stripped off, a Hemi scoop on top, and painted blue.  Cough cough.

Well done!

Thank you kindly. I guess time is money and how it comes out, is less of an issue, in the eyes of these Hollywood executives.
