Yeah, I only check in about once a week, if the site lets me.  Mind there's only like six of us here in a given week.

I see you did not dive into the Pontos aftermarket set for this kit--which may be a better coice.  This as pontos appears to believe we all happen to have microscopes and micro-manipulators handy.

It's a great looking project. Inevitably you will be sick of the sight of it, so "side builds" will be essential.

This kit would take me about 4 years to build.

Watch the fit- little problems are showing up and it's not a race.

Watching with interest,

I've been down the pontos route capt.don't think i will do it again , mind there is 15 frets of Pe in the kit itself .

good to have you aboard bill , I'm planning on 6_12 months hopefully . the main problem I am having so far is incorrectly numbered parts , the boats , tops have the bottom numbers and vise versa .

well another lot of bending and folding .

He is still around. At some point he changed his user name, but it's a version of the same. Still writing long philosophical posts!

That certainly looks like Yamato!

Yes traffic is way down. It's gotten hard to log on, and a lot of folks have tossed in the towel and gone elsewhere.
